After the first stage of editing our teaser trailer we published the trailer on Facebook, we did this to get feedback from people who were the target audience age group. by doing this we received critical feedback as well as positive comments.
Once we had received feedback we re-edited our trailer and added a voice over to the first few shots, as someone had mentioned in our feedback as we believed this would make the trailer better. we also re-filmed some shots due to people commenting on the quality. we also decided to add a shot which created a twist to the narrative to fit the conventions of a Romantic Comedy.
We also decided the beauty and brain shots weren't giving the effect we had wanted to achieve as we believed they were not "over the top" so we decided that we needed them to be more over the top like the rest of the trailer, we did this by re-filming these two sections by using mise-en-scene to show the beauty and the geek once we had accommodated to the audience feedback and realised that our teaser trailer was a lot better were happy with the final results.
